ABOUT THE TASK FORCE
Our mission is to grow the church, form the faithful and change the world by integrating sustainable practices throughout the diocese. This task force has been meeting since January 2009 as a result of a resolution at the 2008 Diocesan Convention asking the bishop to name a task force on sustainability. To date we have:

• Developed a sustainability initiative
• Engaged clergy and leadership to discuss where sustainable practices apply to our church
• Are performing a diocesan-wide survey measuring needs and interests on sustainable activities.
• Partnering with Faith in Place, http://www.faithinplace.org/, a local interfaith organization, for guidance and best practices from a sustainability perspective.
• Planning educational workshops for Diocesan Convention
